His research interests include: 1) Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Interferometric SAR (InSAR) data processing with remote sensing applications; 2) Physics-based retrieval algorithm development for radar remote sensing observations of random and complex medium (e.g. vegetation, snow, ice, planetary sub-surface); and 3) Radar remote sensing theory (in particular, electromagnetic scattering modeling).
