Intérêts de recherche
I propose to understand the mechanisms by which innate immune cells such as natural killer and myeloid regulatory cells modulate the tumor microenvironment and promote tumor metastases in the postoperative period. With this knowledge, I will target postoperative immune suppression with a rational combination of novel immunotherapies and standard-of-care treatments. This will be accomplished using in vivo mice tumor models of solid tumor (breast, bladder, pancreatic) and major surgery.
