Béatrice Laroche

Béatrice Laroche was born in Toulouse, France. She received the Agrégation de Mathématiques and the M.Sc. degree in numerical analysis from University Paris VI, Paris, France, in 1984 and 1985, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, France, in 2000. She spent some years in research and development of flight control systems for Dassault Aviation, Saint-Cloud, France. She is now an Assistant Professor in the Physical Science Department, Control Theory, at University Paris XI, Paris, France. Her scientific interests are in flatness-based control, motion planning, and PDE control.
