Lanrong Liu was born in Hebei, China, in 1978. She received the B.E. degree from the Shenyang University of Technology, Shenyang, China, in 2000, and the M.E. degree from the North China Electric Power University, Baoding, China, in 2013.
She is currently a Senior Engineer and a Third-class Chief Engineer of the Institute of Power Transmission and Transformation Technology, Baobian Electric Co., Ltd, Hebei, China. She has been engaged in the basic research of transformers for a long time. Her research interests include the key components and material characteristics of transformers, the vibration and noise of transformers and reactors, and the technology of electromagnetic-thermal simulation.
