个人简介
Laith Abu-Taleb, a fourth year Bioengineering student at the University of Maryland, is a student intern for the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineers. He brings with him regulation experience from two summers interning for the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he analyzed new technologies in the orthopedic prosthetic department as well as the gas turbine engine art unit.
Abu-Taleb has also been heavily involved in bioengineering research, working at the University of Maryland's Functional Macromolecular Laboratory. Laith performed research on a purely synthetic polymer able to induce the body's natural hemostatic coagulation process, made up of functionalized hydrogel microspheres.
Laith hopes to continue his studies and pursue a Juris Doctor at the George Mason School of Law while simultaneously working on a Masters degree in Bioengineering at the University of Maryland.
