个人简介
Kristine Black-Hawkins taught in schools and worked for local government before joining the Open University and then later the Faculty of Education. Her current teaching and research interests are in the area of inclusive and special education and, in particular, school and classroom cultures and how they might be developed in ways that raise the achievements of all learners whilst safeguarding the inclusion of those who are more vulnerable to processes of exclusion. She is currently researching the concept of inclusive pedagogy and teachers' craft knowledge of their inclusive classroom practices, as well as how schools can support high levels of achievement for diverse groups of students, within changing policy contexts. An important aspect of this is the generation of innovative research approaches and tools to underpin the work.
