Khuloud Jaqaman received the B.Sc. degree from Birzeit University, Birzeit, Palestine, in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree from Indiana University Bloomington, Bloomington, IN, USA, in 2003, followed by post-doctoral training from 2003 to 2009 at the Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, CA, USA. From 2009 to 2012, she was an Instructor with the Department of Systems Biology, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA. Since 2013, she has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Biophysics, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX, USA. She has authored multiple published articles describing quantitative image and data analysis advances as well as cell biological discoveries enabled by these advances. Her research interests include computer vision, statistical analysis, and stochastic mathematical modeling to determine the spatiotemporal organization and signaling of cell surface receptors using quantitative microscopy.
