Primary focuses include -omics based studies through application of several forms of direct (ESI, etc.) or imaging capable atmospheric pressure ionization (LTP, DESI, etc.) and laser desorption sources (LDI/MALDI), non-traditional dissociation (UVPD) and mass spectrometry experiments, and the instrument development of hybrid ultra-high resolution Fourier Transform mass spectrometers (FTMS).
