Keith Brazendale

My research interests center on childhood obesity prevention and treatment, specifically obesogenic behaviors such as activity, sleep, screen time and diet in-and-out of school time. I am also interested in the etiology of children’s accelerated weight gain during summer months, or during times when children have less 'structure' to their day-to-day lives. I developed and published a research hypothesis – the ‘Structured Days Hypothesis’ – to help us understand why this may be occurring.
