Kavirajaa's main research focus area is development of conducting polymer composites for chemical sensor applications. He is also working on crustacean and fungal based chitin/chitosan as biofillers to optimize conducting polymer sensor properties. The main goal of his research is to turn waste products into value added materials to integrate with conducting polymers.
