When a streaming media is trasmitted by a sender, the sender tries to find the most efficient route for each frame, so that Quality of Service(QoS) is maintained. The packets are sent through routers which find optimal path on a dynamic basis. However, we are concerned about the fact that after the media has been transmitted, there is no way for the sender to find out what is the reception at the receiver end and whether the QoS has really been maintained there. The work has to be done on the basis of UDP protocol. The current protocols, however, can not be modified, but we propose to develop some associated protocol to handle this issue.
