Dr. Kathryn Heinze is an associate professor of Sport Management. She earned her Ph.D. in Management and Organizations from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and her B.A. in Organizational Studies from the University of Michigan.
Professor Heinze's research focuses on organizational and institutional change. She examines the tactics and processes by which individuals and organizations respond to and lead social and cultural change in their fields and industries. Dr. Heinze studies these dynamics primarily in the areas of sport and health/wellness, and her research has been published in the Journal of Sport Management, Sport Management Review, Organization Science, Administrative Science Quarterly, and Organization Studies, among others.
