Mr. M. Karthik is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore. He received his B.E., (First Class) Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Vel Tech Multi Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR Engineering College, Chennai, India in 2013. He received his M.E., (First Class with Distinction & Programme Topper) High Voltage Engineering from National Engineering College, Kovilpatti, India in 2015. Currently, He is pursuing his Ph.D in the field of Liquid Dielectrics as a part time scholar in Anna University, Chennai. He has 5 years of teaching experience. He has attended 06 national and 10 international Conferences. He has published 23 papers in International Journals, 08 papers in Scopus Journals and 01 paper in Web of Science Journal. He has attended 20 Faculty Development Programs (FDP’s), 14 workshops/seminars and 03 short term courses organized by various reputed institutions like IIT’s, IISC and NIT’s. He received a Best Young Faculty Award 2019 by DKIRF. He has completed British English Council (BEC) Test and Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL). He is one of the authors for the book chapter titled, “Review on Thyristor Controlled Series Capacitor (TCSC)”. He authored two books and hold 1 patent to his credit. He has organized many events like seminars, workshops and received fund from ISTE for organizing seminars. He is a reviewer of International Journal of Energy and Environment Research, International Journal of Modern Applied Science, International Journal of Recent Trends in Engineering and Research, International Journal of Innovative Research in Engineering & Multidisciplinary Physical Sciences. He is an active member of Mentor of Change for ATAL Tinkering Lab. He had been the resource person for handling sessions in engineering colleges & schools. He has completed 02 online courses in NPTEL, 18 online courses in COURSERA, 07 online courses in ALISON, 06 online courses in UDEMY, 01 online course in IBM and 14 online courses in Tata Steel Industry. His field of interest includes High Voltage Insulation Systems, HVDC Transmission and Power Systems. He is an Honorary Rosalind Member of London Journals Press and a lifetime member of ISTE & IAENG.
