Bio
Presently, I am investigating the role of Lamin-associated proteins and the Nucleoplasmic Lamin pool in Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) using Invitro and Invivo (Mice and Zebrafish) models. My doctoral work encompassed evaluating Nrf2-ARE mediated antioxidant signaling, mitochondrial biogenesis, respiration, and function in in-vivo and in-vitro models of hepatotoxicity and NASH and evaluating the therapeutic potential of Carbon monoxide in the said disease models.
