Mr Collins is one of Europe’s leading academics in the field of robotic surgery training, with over 100 peer-reviewed publications, 20 awards and prizes, and over 250 presentations and state-of-the-art lectures at national and international conferences.
His research is focused on developing robotic training curricula, defining the metrics of optimised surgery, network development, live streamed educational webinars, AI and the application of novel technologies, health informatics and enhanced recovery protocols to improve patient outcomes.
