Jung Kwan Seo

Jung Kwan Seo received the Ph.D. degree from Pusan National University, South Korea, in 2007. He is an Associate Professor in the Korea Ship and Offshore Research Institute (KOSORI), Pusan National University (PNU), Korea. After graduation, he continued his work as a Lecturer in Queensland University of Technology, Australia, for two years. His research interests include safety studies and design of ships and offshore structures associated with extreme and accidental conditions. He has been an author or co-author of more than 120 articles including 60 SCI/SCIE papers. He serves as the Director of Subsea Research Centre of the KOSORI at PNU. Dr. Seo has also been a Member of specialist committee V.8 Subsea Systems of International Ship and Offshore Structures Congress.
