Julian Baur

I am currently employed as a PhD student at the University of Uppsala. My main project revolves around the condition-dependence of mutation rates, sexual selection and ageing. Our main tools are seed beetles, experimental evolution, and large scale breeding experiments. A second focus of my work is the thermal sensitivity of fertility, how it differs between the sexes, and what implications this might have for species responses to climate change.
