Julia Steinhardt

Currently, I am working as a Postdoc in an interdisciplinary project interfacing neurology and metabolism within the GRK1957 'Adipocyte-Brain Crosstalk'. We aim to better understand the mechanisms of metabolic alterations in patients with neurodegenerative disorders with different kinds of treatment. We combine clinical, molecular, behavioral, imaging and neurophysiological measurements with state-of-the-art computational tools to study complex brain-periphery interactions.
