My general research interests lie in the use and development of information retrieval and machine learning techniques for effective and efficient adaptive information access and mining. I am particularly interested in content management and search in distributed environments such as include personalized search and domain-dependent or task-specific information processing and knowledge discovery. My other areas of interest include web data mining and social networks.
