Juan-Tomas Vazquez

My research interests focus on the geology of continental margins and ocean basins, specializing in geomorphology, tectonics, and active geological processes. Including both its analysis in continental slopes, as in deep-sea environments and seamounts, its relationship with diapirs, mud volcanoes and magmatic volcanoes, and its role as geohazards: erosion processes, fault activity, underwater massive flows and tsunami triggers.
