Dr. Juan Morote is Head of the Urology Service of the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona and Professor of Urology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. His area of special dedication has been prostate cancer and since 1997 he leads the translational research program in prostate cancer of the Institut de Recerca Biomédica Vall d'Hebron. He is the author of 332 publications in peer-review journals, co-inventor of 11 patents and founding member of Transbiomed (Spin-off created in 2007, present-day AMADIX). Between 2004 and 2014 he was president of the National Urology Commission.
