Inocencio Buot Jr currently works at the Institute of Biological Sciences , University of the Philippines Los Banos. Inocencio does research in Botany, Ecology and Systematic Morpho-Anatomy. He and his graduate students/colleagues are currently working on the Conservation and botanical studies of biodiversity in the Philippines and the ASEAN. Ecological studies deal with the 'Altitudinal vegetation zonation of Philippine mountain forests' while systematic studies include floristics and leaf architectural analysis of controversial species.
