个人简介
Joey Palmowski holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from University of South Florida and a Master's degree in mechanical engineering from University of Nebraska. During his studies at Nebraska, Joey defended a thesis on the design and prototyping of a novel surgical robotic arm and co-authored a patent for the technology. Joey has now been with Honeybee Robotics since April of 2018 and is currently a Project Lead and Mechanical Engineer III. He currently leads two technology development projects for the exploration of Mars, including Redwater, a project to design and build a technology for mining water from Martian ice deposits buried 10s of meters below the surface. He is also working on a proposal for a technology similar to Redwater, but for mining water on the surface of the Moon.
