Bio
John Xun Yang is an assistant research scientist at Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center (ESSIC) of the University of Maryland. His research interest is Earth remote sensing. He has over ten years experience in microwave radiometry, satellite remote sensing, and sensor engineering. He has been involved with five NASA/NOAA satellite missions, including the Aquarius, GPM, CYGNSS, JPSS, and TROPICS missions.
