个人简介
My research project investigates how top-down influences such as sounds and attention modulate visual processing in the primary visual cortex. Specifically, I am interested in understanding the nature of primary auditory (A1) and primary visual (V1) cortical interactions during multisensory perception. To study A1 to V1 interactions in a multisensory environment I use calcium imaging in awake behaving mice. Calcium imaging allows for the characterization of neuronal activity in the V1 of mice presented with audiovisual cues.
