Anderson, J.M.M.

John M. M. Anderson received the Sc.B. degree in electrical engineering from Brown University, Providence, RI, USA, the M.S.E.E. degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA, USA. He joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA, in 1992, and was later promoted to Associate Professor. Since 2002, he has been a Faculty Member with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Howard University, Washington, DC, USA, where he is currently a Full Professor. His research interests include signal and image processing, and the problem of reconstructing images for ground penetrating radar and X-ray computed tomography. Dr. Anderson was a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award. Additionally, he has served as an Associate Editor of the IEEE Signal ProcessingLetters from 2001 to 2003.
