个人简介
John M. Alred received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston and his Ph.D. in Material Science and Nanoengineering from Rice University. John is a contamination control technologist at JPL and the contamination control lead for JPL’s SPHEREx, SWOT, DSOC and EMIT missions. John’s primary research areas is using computational physics techniques such as density functional theory (DFT) and molecular dynamics (MD), as well as data driven techniques, such as machine learning, to model material properties and phenomenon.
