John Frederick Trant

We are a bioorganic synthesis group at the University of Windsor specializing in the synthesis of unnatural "acetal-free" carbohydrates for anti-cancer immunology; computationally designed peptides for autoimmune diseases; and novel classes of responsive polymers based on biomaterials. My background is in peptide and carbohydrate and natural product synthesis, and materials chemistry. We have an interdisciplinary focus and look to use synthesis to solve problems in biomedicine and materials.
