I bring both high level commercial R&D (ABI,Inc.,Section Leader; Lynx Therapeutics, Director of Proteomics) as well as high level academic (University of Texas Medical Branch, Professor of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Director of Proteomics; UT System Proteomics Network, Separations Technology Lead) experience to the disciplines of protein analysis and proteomics. I have contributed new protein and DNA analytical technologies throughout my career and engaged in extensive collaborations with physician scientists, addressing many areas of human health and well-being, represented currently by 64 peer-reviewed publications, 7 book chapters, PI and Co-I on 17 NIH and other Federal grants, and 27 national and international patents and applications.
