Bio
After completing my B.S. in Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, I joined the Añoveros Lab at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. It was there, studying sensory cell development in the cochlea, that I found my passion for the biological sciences. Since then, I’ve joined the PhD program in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology at University of California, Santa Cruz. I am grateful to have joined the Ward Lab, where we are interested in the mechanisms that govern biological timers in C. elegans. Specifically, my project is focused on how transcription factors regulate oscillatory gene expression to coordinate apical extra cellular matrix remodeling and timely/proper molting.
