His clinical subspecialty interest focuses on the diagnosis and management of Allergic Contact Dermatitis and the evaluation of complex allergic and work-related skin disease. He is a select member of the North American Contact Dermatitis Group, a member of CREOD, the Centre for Research Expertise in Occupational Medicine, and is a consultant for the Workers Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and is the Past President of the Canadian Contact Dermatitis Society. In addition to his subspecialty focus, Dr. DeKoven has a well-established practice in General Dermatology and Laser Therapy at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
