个人简介
His research interests extended from aluminum alloys to magnesium alloys and metal matrix composites, while his core research activities on materials processing and process engineering remained largely unchanged. In recent years, his research and teaching interests have shifted from materials for engineering applications to materials for biomedical applications, particularly for orthopedic applications, and from formative manufacturing to additive manufacturing. Currently, his research is focused on biodegradable metals, alloys and composites in porous or consolidated form and on powder-bed-based additive manufacturing processes.
