Jian Chen

I received my B.S. in geochemistry from Nanjing University in 2007 and my Ph.D. in geochemistry at Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, CAS in 2013. My major interests include 1) chemistry of oilfield waters and their relationship with hydrocarbon accumulation and alteration, 2) the role of organic acids in deeply-buried reservoirs and 3) application of bound hydrocarbons in macromolecular organic matters into the oil-source correlation.
