Jialiu Lin is a Software Engineer in Google since Jan 2014, specialized in privacy and security. Before that, she worked as a post doc in the Institute for Software Research, part of the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University in the area of mobile computing and usable privacy and security. Jialiu received her PhD from Carnegie Mellon University, co-advised by Prof. Norman Sadeh and Prof. Jason I. Hong. Her PhD dissertation focused on improving mobile app privacy controls and privacy interfaces. Jialiu received her undergraduate degree from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
