Bio

I am interested in the analysis of large genetic datasets as they relate to human health and disease. My main focus is how genetic data (SNPs, WES, WGS, methylation, RNA expression) influence normal variation in levels of hemostatic factors and platelet-related traits and how they may contribute to disease risk. My secondary research focus is to apply the same techniques to investigate renal function, uric acid and gout. I contribute to several large consortia including CHARGE, CKDGen & TOPMed.
