个人简介
Jeff currently works in the Think Tank Team at Samsung Research America in San Jose. Before joining TTT, he was a project lead in the UX Innovations Lab in Samsung's UX Center. At Samsung he's exploring what the next generation of user experiences look like for a variety of computing devices.
Previously he led the mobile computing research team at IBM's Almaden Research Lab, where he and his team looked at all sorts of fun smartphone and tablet user experiences. They explored how to aggregate multiple information sources to create a mobile dashboard, played with how mobile email interfaces might differ from desktop email interfaces, and dabbled with tools to help mobile developers understand how people use their applications. They also studied how people use mobile devices more generally to identify new opportunities.
Jeff is generally interested in how people integrate phones and tablets into their collections of personal devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, etc.), and in how they coordinate their activities across them. A long time ago in a galaxy far, far way, he also studied the intersection between HCI and AI, 3D interaction, and even virtual reality.
