Jeffrey B. Basara

Dr. Basara's primary research interest focuses on land-atmosphere interactions across the Great Plains of the United States during the warm season and includes the physical processes which impact the development of the planetary boundary layer, the development, validation, and improvement of land surface models, micrometeorology, instrumentation, urban meteorology, severe weather, regional climatology, droughts, flash floods, and remote sensing of land-surface properties.
