个人简介
Jean M Keller has over 30 years of experience in women’s health care and is the co-director of the Johns Hopkins HIV Women’s Health Program. Ms. Keller provides reproductive health care to women in the adult HIV clinic at the John G. Bartlett Specialty Practice, and in addition to HIV, she has a special interest in sexually transmitted infections.
Ms. Keller began her career in women’s health at Planned Parenthood of Maryland working primarily with disenfranchised women from Baltimore City. After three years at Planned Parenthood, she came to Johns Hopkins' Division of Infectious Diseases during the early years of the HIV epidemic to care for patients who were HIV positive. While working in the HIV clinic, she was interested in the growing number of women who had HIV, and she joined Dr. Jean Anderson and the HIV Women’s Health Program to respond to their unique needs.
Jean Keller received a bachelor's degree in biology at Molloy College in New York before obtaining a physician assistant certification in Maryland. She has lectured locally, nationally and internationally on HIV, human papillomavirus and other sexually transmitted infections. She chairs the Johns Hopkins Ryan White HIV Collaborative Quality Improvement Committee and is involved with quality improvement initiatives for people with HIV in the city and state.
