个人简介
I am a Professor in Computer Science / Human-Computer Interaction.
My research has a double objective: 1) to better understand humans and 2) to design human-machine interactions applied to health and disability.
I adapt psychological theories of motivation, personality, and social and multimodal interaction.
These theories are used as frameworks to design and evaluate personalised and motivational human-machine interactions integrating for example animated virtual agents or personalised phone applications.
In the field of health, I cooperate with specialists in various pathologies such as low back pain, diabetes, autism.
My research requires a multidisciplinary approach and is based on cooperation with researchers in human-computer interaction and psychology, doctors, disability specialists and industrial partners.
My research focuses on two complementary areas:
Personalised social skills training (for disabled people, professionals or the general public)
Personalized motivation for behavioural change and health
