I am an Environmental Toxicologist and Registered Professional Biologist with 30 years experience designing and implementing investigations evaluating the interaction between chemical contaminants and aquatic organisms. Particular areas of interest have related to environmental impacts of constituents associated with the mining industry and obtaining data to support decision-making processes, such as environmental assessments, risk assessments, and management decisions of mine operators. Development of site specific water quality guidelines that apply site relevant data to refine benchmarks is a particular area of interest for me, as well as developing methodology for unique test species that are relevant to the Canadian environment.
