James Maher

James F. Maher MD, PhD serves as Physician Executive of the TriHealth Cancer Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio and Medical Director of its Precision Medicine Institute. Previously, he was president of a multi-specialty oncology group in Cincinnati. He has been active in clinical research for more than two decades, enrolling patients and being principal investigator on numerous trials including targeted therapies. Dr Maher spent 10 years within the biotech industry, serving as a lab leader at Genentech and co-founded a biotech company specializing in proprietary technology for the diagnosis of viral disease which is still being used today. He holds numerous patents and is certified in Cancer Prevention Genetics.
