James Ernest Blevins

James (Ernie) Blevins is a Principal Investigator at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System and is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle. Ernie is interested in the role of short-term satiety signals in the control of food intake and in understanding the mechanisms that contribute to the anti-obesity effects of the neurohypophyseal hormone, oxytocin, in diet-induced obese rodent and nonhuman primate models.
