James C. Ginn

James C. Ginn received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, in 2009. As a student, he carried out research in infrared reflectarrays, polarized thermal emission surfaces, low-power rf energy harvesting, and genetic algorithm optimization of microwave antenna devices. After graduation Dr. Ginn held a postdoctoral appointee position at Sandia National Laboratory where he investigated low-loss metamaterials, semiconductor processing, and characterization of new classes of infrared materials. He is the Senior Executive Vice President and CTO at Plasmonics, Inc., Orlando, FL. He has co-authored 21 journal papers, 25 conference proceedings/talks, and 2 patents.
