Jahangheer S. Shaik

Dr. Shaik is serving as a Bioinformatics Specialist for National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at National Institutes of Health (NIH). He has previously served as a faculty in the department of Molecular microbiology at Washington University School of Medicine. The recent progress in bio-based research has led to the accumulation of a large amount of meaningful biomedical data. The focus of Dr. Shaik’s research is to design applications that employ automated computational methods for reducing complexity and for improving data-driven representation, integration, analysis, interpretation and for discovering meaningful patterns and relationships in large biomedical datasets.
