My research group is currently conducting two prospective clinical trials.The scientific focus is to study if intracapsular tonsillectomy is a safer, more efficient and more cost-effective treatment method compared to traditional extracapsular tonsillectomy in adult population with recurrent acute tonsillitis, chronic tonsillitis or obstructive sleep apnea related to tonsil hypertrophy.
