Jintao Zhang

Jintao Zhang received the Ph.D. degree in engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2000. He conducted postdoctoral research at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, USA, from 2000 to 2001. He has been with the National Institute of Metrology, Beijing, since 2001. He has studied for the determination of the Boltzmann’s constant and thermodynamic temperatures using the primary acoustic gas thermometry. His current research interests include the studies of the fixed points with the international temperature scale, the properties of thermometers of NV centers in diamond, and the guarded-hot-plate (GHP) procedure for the measurements of thermal conductivity.
