Prof. Pacyna's expertise is based on studies on biogeochemical cycling and fluxes of various chemicals and radionuclides through the environment and source-receptor relationships of various chemicals in the local, regional, and global environment. Another field of his expertise is related to the implementation of environmental strategies defined within international agreements on emission reductions, including cost-benefit analysis of this implementation.
