个人简介
His research interests encompass a wide range of energy-storage materials and devices. His current research projects, funded by government agencies and industries, focus on innovation of Li-ion materials and systems for improving battery energy density, safety, and lowering the cost. He established Energy Innovation Laboratory located at NanoTech West to perform materials synthesis and battery cell fabrication, testing, and characterization.
He teaches ME3501: Introduction to Engineering Thermodynamics, ME3503: Introduction to Fluid Mechanics, ME/AE 4999 & 4999H: Undergraduate Research for Thesis, and ME6194: Introduction to Energy Storage and Conversion Devices. He newly developed ME6194 course in a unique way - 70% in-class lecture and 30% laboratory experiments at Energy Innovation Lab - to provide both fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience about broad energy-related topics.
