个人简介
Jane has a strong background in pharmacology research, extending from molecular pharmacology of neurotransmission to quality use of medicines. Her work describing the role of key residues on the function of GABAC receptors. Jane subsequently extended her structure-function studies of neurotransmitter ligand-gated ion channel receptors and transporters.
Jane's research interests include structure-function studies of neurotransmitter receptors and transporters, optimising immunosuppressant therapy in heart and lung transplant, extending use of metformin to complex patient populations (including heart failure and renal failure), influences on prescribing decision-making, evaluating therapeutic drug monitoring processes and exploring informed consent – an ethical tenant that is central to the researcher-participant relationship in clinical research.
