He teaches courses on analog and digital integrated circuit design. He is currently the Deputy Director of the Institute for Data Processing and Electronics (IPE) and he leads the ASIC and Detector Laboratory (ADL). He is member of several particle physics collaborations where he contributes to the detector development. He is the author or the coauthor of two book chapters, more than 150 articles, and one patent. His research interests include the development of novel integrated circuits and silicon sensors, semiconductor device modeling, particle physics, astrophysics, and medical imaging.
